I've been watching this thread as I REALLY want to begin this course already. It seems like some people are VERY slow....cmon people PAY UP...
From what I count (I may be incorrect, feel free to check my math)
Normal payers (8 people):
8 × $72.03 = $576.24
Crypto payers with 20% discount (4 people):
4 × $57.62 = $230.48
Total collected: $806.72
Still short: $1200 - $806.72 = $393.28
So yeah, 8 people still need to follow thru. The group is sitting at $806.72 out of $1200 needed.

Who would sign up and not pay? We got 20 people confirmed on Monday - it's now Friday and only 12 have paid. That's 5 days of silence from 8 people.
To the 8 who haven't paid: We're $393 short. The 12 of us paid immediately based on YOUR commitment. If you're having second thoughts, just say so. But don't leave us hanging when we already paid our $72 based on you being in. Every day you wait is another day the 12 of us can't access what we paid for.

I agree, I feel the window of payment is way too generous (7 days), maybe it needs a little shrinking (not little). So admin, maybe revise the rules in the future.
Commitment of others are based of the number of participants, which is misleading, as we can see in this perfect example.
I mean in 2025, why would you press buy if you're unable to make the payment the same day?

Or some kind of a reward system (bigger discount) for the first say 25-50% of participants who commit and have their funds in limbo until the fundraising is done, and those who come late, would pay a bit more.
I don't know, but a revamp in your system couldn't hurt.
I would gladly pay a bit more if I'm late to a fundraising, knowing I would get the cours rather soon, and as an initiator I would accept to wait more and be rewarded for something I think has big value and eventually will be funded.

Totally agree with rparm and cristi.
Unless you pay immediately or lets say within 24hours then you shouldn't be considered a participant. As this effects all other participant's who are serious
